It’s 4 in the morning, and my day starts with a simple yet effective snack: a peanut butter and jelly sandwich paired with a boiled egg. This combination serves as my pre-workout meal, providing the energy I need for the light exercise I do around 5 AM.
From 6 to 7 AM, I dedicate time to my garden. Weeding and watering not only keep my plants thriving but also offer me a meditative start to the day. By the time I finish, it’s 8 AM, and I’m ready for breakfast. Waiting four hours after waking up for a full meal might sound unusual, but that’s where the PBJ comes in, giving me a jumpstart to tackle the morning.
I follow an intermittent fasting pattern that has become second nature over the years. My meals are structured: breakfast at 8 AM, lunch at 11 AM, and dinner by 4 PM. After that, my stomach gets a well-deserved 16-hour break. This routine doesn’t leave much room for snacking, and I’ve learned to avoid it since it doesn’t agree with my system.
This lifestyle has brought balance to my days, combining nourishment, activity, and rest in a rhythm that works perfectly for me.
