What is something others do that sparks your admiration?

Those who do voluntary work without the desire for publicity are the ones who deserve respect and spark my admiration.
Allow me to share some examples.

  • A father lost his son in a motorbike accident due to the potholes on the streets of Mumbai. He has been quietly filling up potholes at his expense ever since.
  • A poor villager lost his wife as slipped and fell from a mountain, while trying to cross over to access medical facilities on the other side. The grief stricken man decided to cut a road through that mountain. He started in 1959 and completed it 22 years later using a chisel and a hammer! Sounds impossible? Read the complete story here

It is people like these who are the giants of humanity. Those who step up in the face of adversity and help others instead of letting grief and despair overtake them.

I admire such people instead of the social media influencers and movie stars who wait for the cameras to start rolling before pulling ‘Save the world’ stunts.
