The new neighbors

“It is the new neighbors!” said Mother, happy that the previous ones had left.
“Do they have any children?” Father said.
The previous tenants had two. The children played video games at maximum volume the whole day. We had complained, but nothing happened.
“No, their children are settled in the US and come to visit once a year.”
Mother and father went out of their way to help them set up their belongings.
“Finally, I can sleep during the day,” said Father, who took his retirement seriously.
Everything went well until the next morning at six.
We heard a sound as if someone had stepped on a cat’s tail.
“We practice classical music for four hours every morning and evening,” said the new tenants.
“I miss the children,” Father said.
“Yes, at least they stopped when the batteries ran out,” said Mother.
