What would you change about modern society?

In today’s hyper-connected world, one troubling trend stands out and something I would like to change about modern society is the compulsive need to record every moment, no matter the circumstances. What technology we would be better off without

An area of technology we might be better off without is social media apps. I am not sure how the world functioned before all these chat apps started popping up. Now, everyonefrom great-grandparents to toddlerscan be found hooked to their smartphones, busy chatting, uploading selfies, and sharing details about their lives that no one was interested in to begin with. Smartphones have their uses. In fact, I would call them one of the most important inventions of our age. That being said, the social media apps on these smartphones have turned many into addicts. Excessive use of anythingeven medicinecan be dangerous. I would suggest imposing some restrictions on the overuse of social media apps, especially when it affects and endangers the lives and mental health of the young or impressionable.
