If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?
If I had the power to change one law, I would enforce the right to recallboth for politicians and public policies. While some countries have recall provisions, they are often buried under layers of bureaucracy, requiring extensive signature collection and legal battles. I believe this process should be simple, instant, and accessible to all. Imagine an app on your smartphone that allows you to hold your elected representatives accountable. After a fair trial periodsay, six months in officethe recall option becomes available. If a majority of voters choose to recall the official, they are immediately removed from their position. This same process should apply to public policies. Citizens should have the power to revoke laws and policies that don’t serve them. Governance should be a two-way street, where people retain control over their representatives and the decisions that shape their lives. Privacy is key. This entire process must be conducted… If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?
