An emergency preparedness plan

Emergencies can come in all sizes. Let’s assume we are creating an emergency preparedness plan for the ultimate scenario. Given the penchant for our ‘world leader’ to start wars they cannot finish, it is imperative that we be prepared for the worst. My plan would run something like this: While this might be for a doomsday scenario, to a lesser extent this list would be good to see ourselves through another round of lock downs in case there is a pandemic waiting around the corner.You never know with the zillions that the pharma companies made during the last pandemic they might just start a new one 😟

The Covid years

Remember the years from 2020 to 2022. The Covid years. The time we spent wearing face masks, remaining in lockdown in our homes, getting vaccinated multiple times?  If a horror novel writer had penned such a story, we would have laughed at the silly scenario. Who would believe such a storyline? And yet, this was a reality we all faced. Almost no country escaped the fury of this pandemic. The confirmed deaths numbered in the millions.  Now that it is all hopefully behind us, shall we try to assess how it impacted our lives? Firstly, to date, we do not have a clear answer as to how it all started. No one knows or tells us if it was a biological experiment gone wrong or a fluke of nature.
