Reducing clutter in my life

Clutter in life exists in two forms: the physical and the mental. The first, physical clutter, is often found in our homes and surroundings. The second, and perhaps more significant, is the clutter in our minds. To manage physical clutter, I stick to a strict daily routine. Every morning, from 6 AM to 7 AM, I dedicate one hour to activities like gardening, cleaning, or organizing my living space. I believe that keeping things I care about in their proper place brings order and calm to my environment. A tidy house feels like a clear canvas, free of unnecessary distractions. But the mental clutterthose endless thoughts, worries, and anxietiesis a more challenging battle. The human mind is often likened to a restless monkey, swinging from one thought to the next. Think about the past or the future

My thoughts often wander between the past or the future, depending on what sparks them. An old grievance may pull me into the past, while anxiety about what lies ahead often has me pondering the future. But then, as life loves to do, reality steps in with an unexpected curve-ball, and I’m brought back to the present. Life has a way of reminding me that the past is long gone, slipping further away with every passing second. Its only value lies in the lessons it leaves behindlessons to remember, not to dwell on. As for the future? It’s shrouded in mystery, a realm we can’t predict or control. Why waste precious moments worrying about it? What we truly have is the present. This fleeting, ever-changing moment is ours to embrace. So let’s cherish it, make the most of it, and live fully in the now.

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

The greatest gift anyone could ever give me is peace of mind. It’s the one treasure money can’t buythe elusive goal we all chase but so few truly attain. Think about it: all our efforts to earn money, master new skills, or climb the ladder of success ultimately boil down to one purposesecuring a life where we feel safe, content, and at peace. We believe that with enough security, we can finally stop struggling. That peace of mind will follow naturally, letting us savor a life free from worries and filled with serenity. But imagine if someone could simply give us that state of mind. No battles to fight, no obstacles to overcome. Just instant tranquilitynirvana at the press of a button. Wouldn’t that be the most extraordinary gift of all?
