The longest journey I made was a seven-day trip from my hometown in Kerala to my post in the state of Manipur, covering approximately 4,000 kilometers – one way. I was working in a Central Government organization. While air travel was an option, it was super expensive and not sponsored by the Government. Had to opt for a more affordable route by train and bus. Day 1: The journey began at 7 AM, with a drive from my home in Kerala to Trivandrum Railway Station. I boarded the train at 9 AM. Day 2: The train arrived in Chennai at about 8 AM. Day 3: Around 10 AM, the train reached Vijayawada. Day 4: By 11 AM, I reached Howrah.
