An ideal day from beginning to end sounds like a dream but I guess, it would run along these lines. The alarm does not work. I get to sleep a little longer. I get up refreshed. Check myself in the mirror and see a slim and trim version of myself looking back. “I do not need to exercise today,” my mind says. I agree. I realize it is a holiday, so no need to switch on the laptop and check or respond to office emails. All the same, I switch on the laptop, just to browse social media apps. Posts where my friends are depressed and complaining are all over. I am glad, my life is better than theirs. Later, as I walk into the dining room, I find both my wife and son agreeing to every word I say.
