An ideal week for me

An ideal week for me would be a blissful parade of pure, unadulterated relaxationa full-on, all-you-can-eat buffet of laziness where work doesn’t even have a reservation. Just me, my couch, and the remote control, with no one around to say, “Shouldn’t you be doing something productive?” But here’s the problemI’m not built for that. Nope. My brain doesn’t come with an off switch. Even in my dream vacation, I’d still be up at 3:30 AM. Springing out of bed like I’m late for a marathon I didn’t sign up for. Or lying there like a burrito, tossing, turning, and holding an Olympic event called “Competitive Insomnia.” Relaxation? Hmm maybe it is not for me 😥

What motivates me

A challenge is what motivates me.  A task that is tough or requires detailed planning and execution. Add an element of risk to it and I am all psyched to take it up and complete it.  Three years back I went to my native place and built my dream home. That one sentence does not do justice to the opposition and mockery I faced initially as I was literally an unknown in that area. I had no friends or no local support. But I had a plan in mind. I micro planned each day of the journey and achieved what shocked a few of my relations. It reads like I am boasting but there were a lot of tense moments and hand wringing on the way. But in the end I was able to accomplish what I set out to do. That is what motivates me, a challenge. An opportunity… What motivates me
