What were your parents doing at your age?
At 56, I find myself reflecting on my parents at this age. My father, an Army officer, was settling into retirement, while my mother, a dedicated homemaker, embraced the quiet life in our home in Kerala. They were winding down, preparing for a peaceful, settled existence. In some ways, I see myself following a similar patternbut with a twist. I now split my time between Kerala and Mumbai, two places that have shaped my journey in different ways. Kerala, with its lush landscapes and slower pace, is perfect for a peaceful retirement. Mumbai, on the other hand, has been the city of ambition and struggle, the place where careers are built and dreams take flight. The plan is for my wife to join me in Kerala in a couple of years, once we’ve seen our son married and settled. Until then, I continue to navigate this transition, balancing the familiarity… What were your parents doing at your age?
