I’ve been thinking about writing a letter to my 100-year-old self lately. Whether that future me would be able to read itor even care tois a different story altogether. Still, it feels worth doing, a little time capsule of thoughts from today to a century-old tomorrow. Here’s what I’d say… Dear Me, Well, hello there, old timer! I never imagined you’d actually make it to 100. Guess someone upstairs isn’t ready for you yetand honestly, it’s not that surprising. You were never exactly a saint, were you? Sure, you didn’t cross any unforgivable lines of decency, but let’s just say you kept life interesting. I can only imagine what it’s like for you now. It must be bittersweet, watching so many of your loved ones say their goodbyes and slip away from this world. The ones still around are likely hobbling along with walking sticks, their own grandchildren running circles… Write a letter to your 100-year-old self
