What motivates me

A challenge is what motivates me.  A task that is tough or requires detailed planning and execution. Add an element of risk to it and I am all psyched to take it up and complete it.  Three years back I went to my native place and built my dream home. That one sentence does not do justice to the opposition and mockery I faced initially as I was literally an unknown in that area. I had no friends or no local support. But I had a plan in mind. I micro planned each day of the journey and achieved what shocked a few of my relations. It reads like I am boasting but there were a lot of tense moments and hand wringing on the way. But in the end I was able to accomplish what I set out to do. That is what motivates me, a challenge. An opportunity… What motivates me

An emergency preparedness plan

Emergencies can come in all sizes. Let’s assume we are creating an emergency preparedness plan for the ultimate scenario. Given the penchant for our ‘world leader’ to start wars they cannot finish, it is imperative that we be prepared for the worst. My plan would run something like this: While this might be for a doomsday scenario, to a lesser extent this list would be good to see ourselves through another round of lock downs in case there is a pandemic waiting around the corner. You never know with the zillions that the pharma companies made during the last pandemic they might just start a new one 😟

Frequently used words

There are a couple of frequently used words, most of them four-letter words that people use a lot. Thanks to Hollywood and social media, these four-letter words are now part of the lexicon across the globe. I would rather not elaborate on the words as I am sure you know them, besides this is a U rated blog.  That being said, these four-letter words do have their uses. For example, when you accidentally stub your toe, nothing expresses your feelings at that moment, than one of these four-letter words. That being the case, there are some rules to their usage. Be careful using them around children or pet parrots. The kids will sponge up such words and can use it later in front of others 😀
