A routine that I would try to skip would be the morning exercises. I try to work out five days a week. It is often a battle of mind over body or is it the body over mind?. My day starts earlyearly, as in 3:30 AM early. This routine goes back to my office going days and even further, to my Army family upbringing. I sleep by 8 PM, so no worries I do get my mandatory beauty sleep. By 4:00 AM, I’m at my desk tackling overnight emails (I work remotely). By 4:30, I’m finished and ready for exercise, with time set aside until 6:00 AM. Every morning, I come up with a long list of excuses to skip the workout.
