If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

I don’t have any pet at the moment, though I grew up in an Army family surrounded by dogs of various breeds. In fact, I once wrote a post about one of thema special memory etched in my heart. Over time, however, my perspective on keeping animals has shifted. I strongly oppose chaining them up or confining them for our entertainment or security. There’s nothing more heart-wrenching than seeing a dog staring longingly from the tenth-floor window of a skyscraper. Animals deserve freedom. They share this planet with us and have just as much right to live their lives as nature intended. Perhaps I should explore the idea of “unionizing” pets, make them understand their rights, get them to break the shackles and claim their slice of this planet.

Write about your first name: its meaning, significance, etymology, etc.

My first name, Manoj, carries a cultural and linguistic significance, as do many Indian names. It is derived from Sanskrit and is a combination of two meaningful elements: “mana,” which translates to mind or spirit, and “ja,” meaning born. Together, Manoj can be interpreted as “born of the mind” or “one who is born from the heart.” Interestingly, in Hindu culture, the name Manoj is also associated with Kamadeva, the god of desire and pleasureoften likened to Cupid in Western traditions. While this part of the name’s etymology is fascinating, it’s not a connection I usually emphasize. There’s a special story behind how I came to have this name, but that’s a tale for another post.

A dream job

My ideal dream job combines flexibility, creativity, and the chance to thrive both personally and professionally. Flexible hours and remote working are non-negotiable, allowing me to maintain balance while excelling in my role. Of course, generous compensation is important, but so is the freedom to unleash my creativity. I envision a work environment where I can collaborate with talented, inspiring individuals who push me to grow. Ideally, I’d be part of an organization that fosters leadership, encourages innovation, and empowers its team members to achieve excellence on their own terms.
