Think back on your most memorable road trip.

Decades ago, I embarked on a road trip that still holds the top spot in my treasure trove of memories. I must have been just fifteen at the time. Interestingly, I wasn’t the original travelerit was supposed to be my uncle. However, a last-minute commitment meant he couldn’t make it, and I stepped in as his replacement. The warm, peace-loving people add to its allure, making every visit unforgettable. Rameshwaram: At the southern tip of India lies this enchanting temple town, known for its awe-inspiring architecture. Whether or not you’re drawn by its spiritual significance, Rameshwaram promises a journey filled with history, beauty, and wonder.

My home state of Kerala exemplifies a remarkable blend of cultural and religious harmony. Hinduism has thrived here for millennia, and in 52 AD, the first church in India was built in Kerala. The state also houses India’s first mosque, constructed in the 7th century, as well as its first synagogue, established in 1568. While centuries ago these examples of coexistence were celebrated, today’s global culture seems to be shifting toward intolerance, with an increasing inability to accept diverse beliefs and traditions. Forced assimilation is harmful, but peaceful coexistence should always be encouraged. Every culture and religion contributes its own unique flavor and practices, enriching the cultural heritage of a nation, which stands as an… A rich and diverse heritage
