Let’s discuss the importance of recharging ourselves. As human beings, we all lead busy lives. Even those who seem to do nothing are often occupied with avoiding work or shirking responsibilities. For many of us, our days are scheduled down to the second, from the moment we wake up to when we finally fall asleep. Amidst this hustle and bustle, it’s natural for fatigue to set in. Just as our bodies require regular rest, our minds need relaxation too. We all have different ways of unwinding; some find solace in music while others enjoy creative hobbies like painting or writing. I’d like to share a few methods that have worked for me. Polarizing leadership

In this century, it’s become noticeable that many world leaders are polarizing. Shall we term their style as polarizing leadership? They tend to evoke extreme emotions in their supporters and detractors, with no middle ground. Whether currently in power or not, these leaders inspire intense feelings of either love or hate among their citizens. Think of leaders in your country and you will find examples. It’s often said that every period has the leadership it deserves. The leaders of a certain era share common characteristics and reflect the aspirations of the majority at that time. Joseph de Maistre’s statement supports this idea, “Every country has the government it deserves”. Perhaps every age does indeed produce its leaders who reflect the values and desires of society at large.

Borders and illegal immigration

The issue of borders and illegal immigration is a highly debated topic in today’s society. Media platforms inundate us with images of caravans crossing into the US and boatloads of individuals attempting to reach European countries, all without proper documentation. The common reason stated for their actions is the desire to escape oppressive regimes or countries with limited job opportunities. Upon successfully crossing borders, these immigrants often receive financial and medical assistance. However, as they approach their destination or settle in, a different narrative begins to unfold. Social media platforms like Twitter showcase the aftermath of riots caused by immigrants, while news headlines highlight instances of violent criminal acts committed by these individuals. A closer examination reveals that many of those crossing borders are predominantly young military-age men.
