Star Trek Prodigy

I grew up watching different versions of the Star Trek movies and TV series. Most of them with humans, and aliens, jam-packed together in a combo pack of action and adventure. The Star Trek Prodigy animated series was my first animated series.   I landed upon the series while causally flicking through the Star Wars and Star Trek stuff on Netflix. Needless to say, I am impressed. I am way beyond the age group this series targets, but I have enjoyed every episode in the two seasons. It is said that stories about children in heroic roles are always fascinating to read and watch. An example is the Harry Potter series. The Star Trek Prodigy series has it all, including a cast of lovable characters who are wannabe Star Fleet academy cadets but end up spending more time-saving galaxies than in classrooms. A piece of me

I have been blogging for more than a decade. This blog represents a piece of me, of myself. Over the years I have been regular, indifferent, and sometimes ignored this site. Recently, I went through some of the posts I have added over the years. It was fun, especially reading the posts on topics like exercising. It showed the phases I had gone through and the changes I made in my routine. A blog can be a journal, a diary with inputs on your thoughts and actions over time. By publishing it, our thoughts are shared with the world. Others may read it or ignore it. That is ok. Those words would remain there, etched for eternitya humble contribution to making this a better place for everyone. A piece of you added to the tapestry of the world of ideas and thoughts. After all, this diversity in our thoughts is… A piece of me

Changes are a part of life

Changes are a part of life. Let’s start with something as simple as rearranging a desk. For decades, my desk has been a technological jungle: a laptop, a pair of speakers, a printer, an external monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and a pen holder overflowing with about a hundred pensmost of which haven’t written since the turn of this century. Every couple of months, I get fed up with the arrangement and decide it’s time for a fresh start. Until last Sunday, the printer had a prime spot on the right, while the laptop lounged lazily on the left. The speakers stood guard on either side of the monitor, and the keyboard and mouse were like stubborn teenagers who refused to move. It was time for a change. As I picked up each item, a thick layer of dust and cobwebs appeared, as if I had unearthed a forgotten tomb. Suddenly, my desk needed not just a makeover… Changes are a part of life
