


If I was asked to name my top 3 favorite dishes I would point at food that takes less time to cook and is easy on the system. This would include traditional Indian dishes like khichdi, upma, and curd rice. As you grow older, you realize that more than the taste buds, you need to cater to the rest of the body. Too spicy or heavy on oils, and it is an open invitation to all lifestyle diseases.
My problem is that while cooking, I tend to rearrange the kitchen. My wife considers the kitchen as her territory and does not like a change in the way the pots and pans are set up or the knives are organized!
