My first computer.

My first computer will always be fresh in my memory. The year was 1999. This was the configuration:

Pentium 4 + 32 MB RAM + 40 GB hard disk, and it came with a pirated version of Windows 95. 🙂

If you’ve finished laughing at this configuration, let me remind you that it was state of the art on a low budget in those days.
See that photo that goes with this post? That’s me with my son. He must have been one year old then. Life was uncomplicated. I made some great memories using and learning on this computer.

I was a late entrant to the world of computers. I was busy doing heroic stuff for the nation, then got tired and decided to settle down.

Coming back to the computer a couple of years later, I tried to install Windows 95 on another computer with tons of RAM, and got a “Too much RAM” error! That is progress for you!
