Do you ever see wild animals?

When it comes to wild animals, I classify them into two distinct categories.

The first includes the four-legged varieties. My encounters with them have mostly been in captivity, at zoos. It’s a bittersweet experience, especially when I see a lionthe king of the junglereduced to pacing within the confines of a tiny enclosure. It’s a sobering reminder of how far they are from their natural habitat. Truth be told, I’m neither adventurous enough nor brave enough to face them in the wild.

The second category? The two-legged “wild animals” that some mistakenly label as humans. These roam freely in our cities and townships. I encounter them dailyvandalizing public property, snapping selfies while defacing national treasures, and leaving chaos in their wake.

Wild animals, indeedbut not always the kind you’d expect!
