I am assuming AI systems would be tasked with designing cities of the future. Even if humans were doing it there are some factors that would have to be taken into consideration: This is a future I do not want to live in. But I guess it is inevitable in maybe a 100 years, that is if we do not nuke ourselves before that.
There is a story behind my name My name is Manoj. I was born way back in 1969. The day I was born another boy was born in the same hospital. The story goes that his parents named him Manoj after a movie star of that era. My parents liked the name and took the easy way out and copied that name for me. That is the story, not sure if it is the other way round, with my parents being the fans and naming me first 🤔 Whatever the story, I am now stuck with this name and have been carrying it around for the last five decades.
A challenge is what motivates me. A task that is tough or requires detailed planning and execution. Add an element of risk to it and I am all psyched to take it up and complete it. Three years back I went to my native place and built my dream home. That one sentence does not do justice to the opposition and mockery I faced initially as I was literally an unknown in that area. I had no friends or no local support. But I had a plan in mind. I micro planned each day of the journey and achieved what shocked a few of my relations. It reads like I am boasting but there were a lot of tense moments and hand wringing on the way. But in the end I was able to accomplish what I set out to do. That is what motivates me, a challenge.
