Why do I blog

Why do I blog? Well, that’s a no-brainerliterally! Blogging is my personal megaphone to the world. It is my chance to unload my thoughts and ideas, even if my only audience is only an alley cat (and let’s be honest, not a very discerning reader). I’m totally okay if nobody reads my blog. The real thrill for me is getting to spill my side of the story. Something similar to a digital diary with fewer lock-and-key issues. Blogs are like superhero capes of self-expression, especially when you compare them to the word-count handcuffs of social media. On my blog, I go wild and post at least once a day. It’s like a daily workout for my gray cells. Keeps it fit and fabulous. So, if you see a new post every day, just know I am flexing those gray cells like a mental bodybuilder.

Close encounter with a neighbor

I didn’t expect a close encounter with a neighbor, but that’s exactly what happened. As usual, I was minding my own business on my way back home. I hoped to be alone in the lift, but as usual, my prayers went unanswered. Someone jumped in just before the doors closed. I pulled out my smartphone, a handy tool for avoiding conversation. I live on the 8th floor and had already pressed the button. My co-passenger pressed the button for the 6th floor and also pulled out his smartphone. The lift began its slow ascent. It stopped after reaching the third floor. While I checked my messages, I assumed the lift had reached his floor. I heard a grunt and looked up to see that the lift had stopped between the third and fourth floors. He attacked the switch panel, pressing various buttons, but nothing happened. Then the lift lights went… Close encounter with a neighbor

My feelings right now

My feelings right now are all calm and peaceful.Well there is a reason for this goody-goody feeling. You see, I am a morning person. It is 3.30 AM and I guess I am the only person awake in this neighborhood.  I prefer to wake up early and go to bed early when compared to the rest of the world. This is a routine I have been following for the past two decades. Which also means it is hopeless to try and change it, but then I am digressing. The advantage of waking up early is I get to do my work in total peace. Also my mind works better without coffee. Somehow coffee makes me sleepy 😀…but again I am digressing.  Maybe it is easy to work when there is no one around to ask you to help around the house or find out where the other sock went.
