The 5 daily habits that keep me from spiraling into chaos are part of a routine. Yes, I’ve mentioned this before, but hey, if routines work for toddlers, they can work for us too.
- Wake up and sleep at the same time: Your body will thank you, and you might even avoid becoming a zombie before your morning coffee.
- Exercise a little: No need to become a gym brosomething simple like yoga or resistance bands will do. Remember, the goal is to move, not to break records or yourself.
- Eat like you care about yourself: Keep it simplenothing too spicy, nothing too hot, and definitely nothing that’s been deep-fried or carbonated into oblivion.
- Try a bit of meditation: Just don’t get too deep into itno need to start levitating or anything. Keep it chill, and leave the chanting for another time.
- Less gossip, more listening: Or, if that’s too much, try less listening and more daydreaming. You’ll still look engaged, and your brain gets a break.
And sure, you can have a cheat day now and then, but just remember: your future self might give you the side-eye for that indulgence. So, even when you cheat, try not to go full rebel mode.
