This is a list of activities that help me in planning my goals and achieving them:
- Make an honest assessment of my abilities. Figure out what I can and cannot do. This is super important. Do not underestimate or overestimate your capabilities.
- Set realistic goals based on your self assessment. Goals which may be slightly tough but not impossible
- Set a timeline to achieve the target
- Try not to depend on others in achieving your goals…this is not exactly a great piece of advice but in my life I have noticed that those around me are not exactly all that smart when it comes to handling tough situations. My reactions and responses are far, far better unfortunately 😥
- Work hard to achieve my goal – given that it is my goal makes it all the more my responsibility to make it succeed.
- Believe in myself. I have absolute confidence in my abilities to achieve any target I set for myself.
- I do not think of failure in achieving my goal.
I firmly believe that there is nothing unachievable if you set your mind to it. Be positive about your abilities and do your best – you will succeed.
