Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

To me, patriotism or being patriotic is more than just a sentimentit’s a commitment. It begins with a deep love for one’s country, free from the labels of politics, religion, gender, or race. True patriotism isn’t about division; it’s about unity and a genuine concern for the well-being of fellow citizens.

On a personal level, I’ve dedicated years of my life to serving in government departments focused on national security. This experience granted me the opportunity to train with weapons ranging from pistols to machine guns, take part in operations that dismantled terror groups, and also contribute to the development of remote villages. These experiences reinforced my belief that protecting one’s nation isn’t just about defenseit’s about building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous society.

In today’s world, we see a shift from globalism to nationalism, and I fully support this approach. Before trying to change the world, we must first ensure that our own house is in order. Securing our borders, strengthening our economy, and improving the lives of our citizens should always be the priority.

At the same time, patriotism should never be confused with blind aggression. War should never be sought, but if conflict becomes necessary, those who advocate for it must be willing to bear the burden themselves. If you truly believe in a cause, wear the uniform, carry the gun, and stand on the front lines. Never expect someone else’s children to make the ultimate sacrifice for your safety.

Being patriotic is not just about wordsit’s about action, responsibility, and the unwavering commitment to the progress and security of our nation.
