Books I want to read

Books I want to read are usually fast-paced action thrillers, the kind that Fredrick Forsyth, Alistair MacLean and Robert Ludlum specialized in.

My all-time favorite author remains Dick Francis. I am a big fan of his low-key, underdog hero characters who eventually outsmart the villain. Once in a while I try to read religious or philosophical books, but typically do not go beyond a few pages.

Comics are great and remind me of my childhood. Used to read them to my son when he was a kid. Have a massive collection, safely packed in a cupboard, waiting to be read by my grandchildren.

Whatever the form the book is in, be it a paperback or digital versions we read on tablets, they are a part of our life, our past, present, and future.
