Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

If I were allowed to invent a holiday my contribution would be a World Self Realization Day.

• One day in the year set aside for the entire world
• The holiday to have no connection to any religion, region, language, gender, or age
• A ceasefire on that day across the globe
• No social media sites to function for the duration of the holiday
• Children to be encouraged to come out and play
• Adults to be encouraged to spend time learning about other cultures and races

A day set aside to realize how blessed we are in that we have access to the only inhabitable planet in the universe. A day to understand and cherish the fact that we are alive.
