I would describe a family member as someone who cares for younot because of your achievements or the balance in your bank account, but simply because they value you.

A friend, guide, and philosopher, who offers wisdom and a steady shoulder to lean on in times of crisis. The sturdy hand that reaches out to lift you when you’re sinking, and the smiling face across the table, always cheering for your success.

This kind of person expects nothing in return. Family, after all, isn’t defined by blood alone but by those who meet these qualities.
