Why should I pay to go to the Moon?

Moon, Mars, or even Ganymedesure, sign me up. But let us be real, I’d basically be a guinea pig for whichever space agency is sending me. I do not see why I should pay to go to the Moon.

Guinea pigs don’t pay to have chemicals dripped into their eyes. Yet, end up strapped with tubes, poked and prodded, all for the sake of gathering data on human endurance and survival in hostile environments.

Wouldn’t I be doing humanity a favor? I think that calls for compensation, not a price tag. I mean, if I’m going to volunteer to be part of an extreme experiment, the least they could do is pay me.

Let me crunch the numbers on what that compensation should be and get back to you.
